This archive is dedicated to fan fiction that was written about or in some way related to Scully's cancer. This cancer provides great brain food for stories full of angst and possible romance even. I know that eventually the cancer will be cured in one way or another
"In med school I learned that cancer arrives in the body unannounced. A dark stranger who takes up residence, turning its new
home against itself. This is the evil of cancer. That it starts as an invader, but soon becomes one with the invaded. Forcing you to destroy it; but only at the risk of destroying yourself. It is science's demon possession. My treatments -- science's attempt at exorcism. Mulder, I hope that in these terms you might know it, and know me. And accept a stranger so many recognize but cannot ever completely cast out. And if the darkness should have swallowed me as you read this, you must never think there was the possibility of some secret intervention. Something you might have done. And although we have traveled far together, this last distance must, necessarily be traveled alone."

Stories and Vignettes
You can read Scully's voice over from the episode here.

Welcome to the Oncology Ward. This archive was originally created by opheliadrowning and housed on Geocities.
When they closed free site hosting in Oct. 2009, I was unable to reach ophelia about keeping the site open, so I took it
upon myself to move it to a safe home. While the appearance remains essentially as ophelia left it, I have taken the
liberty of resorting the stories into alphabetical listings rather than by angst/romance/etc. I hope to add to the site
in the future, so if you have any suggestions for Cancer Arc stories that should be here, or if you find any problems
with the site on your travels, please email and let me know.
A lot of these stories are really old so be aware the email addresses listed on them may not work.
If any author finds a fic here that they don't want to have included on the site, email and let me know.
If a story is part of a series, only the part with Scully's cancer in it is housed here.
Be sure to check out the headers before you start reading if you don't like to be left confused or hanging.
